Why Shout?

A master asked his disciples:
‘Why do we shout in anger? Why do people shout at each other when they are upset?’

the disciples thought for a while, and one of them said
‘Because we lose our calm, we shout for that.’
‘But, why to shout when the other person is just next to you? ‘Isn’t it possible to speak to him or her with a soft voice? Why do you shout at a person when you’re angry?’
The disciples gave him some other answers but none satisfied the master.

Finally he explained:
‘When two people are angry at each other, their hearts distance a lot. To cover that distance they must shout to be able to hear each other. The angrier they are, the stronger they will have to shout to hear each other through that great distance.’

Then the master asked:
‘What happens when two people fall in love? They don’t shout at each other but talk softly, why? Because their hearts are very close. The distance between them is very small…’
And he finally said:
‘When they love each other even more, what happens?
‘They do not speak, only whisper and they get even closer to each other in their love.
‘Finally they even need not whisper, they only look at each other and that’s all. That is how close two people are when they love each other.’

An Ordinary Girl

This is a song that I heard and realized how sometimes its hard to just say, Im an ordinary girl, just living life. The hard part is accepting its okay to just be ordinary.

These are the lyrics that touched me the most.

My point is mostly that we all try to be so much more than we are, but its fine to follow your dreams and still be ordinary. This just touched my heart.

The Beloved Man

A Siberian shaman asked God to show him a man that He loved.

The Lord advised him to look for a certain farmer.

“What do you do to make the Lord love you so much?” the shaman asked the farmer when he found him.

“I say His name in the morning. I work all day and say His name before going to sleep. That’s all,” the farmer replied.

I think I found the wrong man, thought the shaman.

Just then the Lord appeared and said, “Fill a bowl with milk, go to town and then return. Without spilling a single drop.”The shaman did so.

On his return, the Lord wanted to know how many times he had thought of Him.

“How could I? I was worried not to spill the milk!”

“A simple bowl made you forget Me,” said the Lord, “and the farmer, with all his tasks, thinks of me twice a day.”

I'll do Anything!

So behold this is the first post of my blog!

Me and Frank decided to go Downtown and have fun taking pictures. We took a lot of pictures but I will only share four here. This was not planned but yet came about, Something so simple was so much fun. Yesterday while taking these pictures I felt so open and free to do anything. This is the beginning of my new life to be startled by the most simple moment.
