Marriage

I actually posted this blog in an old blog I had but I recently found it and I decided to share it in this Blog. I Originally wrote this in March 20, 2008. I still firmly believe in this post. Ironically I am now Single so even the first line fits.

Enjoy:

Yes I know I do not have a boyfriend but I already made my decision.

After a long time of thinking and considering whether I should or should not get married I have my final answer! Yes I will get married and I will have kids of my own, hopefully.

Today in Pescadores (Estudiantes Catolicos Latinoamericanos) we had a young man talk to us about marriage and it was just thrilling. It was different and I of course saw marriage in a different way.

Marriage is a union of two individuals who love each other and are willing to work at it for the best. It is basically a way to prepare to when we actually go to heaven we can show God how we love him.

Basically we show our love to our partner as they way we will eventually show it to God. Not making them God, but preparing us to show it fully to God in the future in heaven, but we still love him a lot here. After all we were created upon Gods image.

When we have kids it is not, oh we have kids, its telling our partner we love them fully and we are willing to make little replicas of them, and why not, us in those little replicas too. This is how we show our love.

Marriage is about love. It is not about how much we have and about how much material things we will have but about how much LOVE we are going to give and how much love we will share in the relationship. Remember how when you were a kid what mattered wasn’t what you were wearing or the car your parents where driving, but the time you had fun with your family, the time you were loved, the time you felt important in someone’s life.
It is so amazing how we can make it through once we pick that one individual because it wont be easy but you will be willing to work at it.

I want to be loved, a boy to show me into the world and to one day say "[Shoulang] I love you so much I would love to have little replicas with you" (beware world...lol). yes indeed.

Also one thing the young man mention is having to suffer in life, its just how the dice rolls, so I am half scared to death to actually having kids, but then in the end it will pay off.

Okay guys, procreate and marry the person you truely love!

Much love and enjoy the weekend.

I am Alive.

There are times when we tend to find ourselves in situations that are not very pleasing to the mind or soul. However such is life.

Lately I have felt that I have a little more on my plate than I am accustomed. However these are the moments that are important because they teach you another mystery of the universe, and we embark on a journey to find the secret to unveil and solve such problem.

This blog is intended to show that the most simple things can be the most startling because that is what we should want from life, to be startled.

In this ongoing world it can be very complicated to take time and enjoy the simple things but it can be done but just like anything it takes time and effort.

"Now Chase your dreams, stay on track, love yourself fully and never look back."

Much Love, XOXO

What is Written?

From Mr. Coelho's Blog!

A blind man was begging on the road to Mecca, when a pious Moslem came over and asked whether the people were giving generously – as the Koran commands. The man showed him his little tin, which was almost empty. The traveler said:

- Let me write something on the card around your neck.

Hours later, the traveler returned. The beggar was surprised, for he had received a large amount of money.

- What did you write on the card? – he asked.

- All I wrote was: Today is a beautiful spring day, the sun is shining, and I am blind.

I don't want to look back, I just want to start living my life.

Every day is a new wonderful opportunity that we tend to take for granted. How can we know that tomorrow everything will still be okay? How will we know that for the rest of the day everything will stay okay? I just had one of those days when reality get a little twisted.

Our brains have conceded victory to our hearts.

The truth is that every time we fall in love we concede victory to our heart because we are no longer rational. Love is just so magical.

Gitana - Gisell's Birthday Music Video

Three tips for this week

-Borrowed from Mr. Coelho's Blog

Tip 1: Your room
Pay attention to the details. Change the places of the furniture. Clean your wardrobe. Eat in different hours. Make phone calls to people who you are scared to call.

Tip 2: Public transportation
Look to the faces around you. Try to feel what they are feeling now. Talk to a stranger. Be ready to hear a “no”, but try again.

Tip 3: A bar
Go there alone, and don’t feel intimidated. Relax, bring your computer, or a good book, and start working. Stop from time to time. As in the public transportation, talk to strangers. Connecting to people is a blessing, not a threat

Overcoming obstacles

A famous Sufi master was invited to give a course in California.
The auditorium was full at 8AM – the time announced – when one of the assistants came onto the stage.

“The master is just waking up. Please be patient.”

Time passed, and people started leaving the room.
At midday, the assistant returned to the stage, saying that the master would be starting the lecture the minute he finished talking to a pretty girl he had just met.
Most of the remaining audience left.

At 4PM the master appeared – apparently drunk.
This time, all but 6 people stormed out.

“I will teach you this,” said the master, ceasing to act drunk.
“Whoever wishes to go down a long path, must learn that the first lesson is to overcome early disappointments.”

Pulled from Mr. Coelho's Blog

An old man sold toys in the Baghdad market. Knowing that his sight was not quite perfect, his customers sometimes paid him with fake money.

The old man discovered the ruse, but did not say anything.
In his prayers he asked God to forgive those who cheated him.
“Perhaps they’re short of money and want to buy presents for their children,” he said to himself.

The time passed and the old man died. Standing before the gates of Heaven, he prayed once more:

- Lord! – he said. – I am a sinner. I did many wrong things, I am no better than the false coins I was paid. Forgive me!

At that moment the gates swung open and a Voice was heard:

- Forgive what? How can I judge someone who all through his life never once passed judgment on others?
